Domestic Ghosts is a portrait series exploring masculinity, vulnerability, and the hidden emotional struggles of men in the home. Through carefully staged triptychs, the project examines how men, particularly those in stereotypically masculine roles, present themselves to the world versus how they experience their emotions in private.
The project seeks to challenge traditional notions of masculinity, exploring what it means to be strong, vulnerable, and human.
I am looking for men from all walks of life—different ages, backgrounds, and professions—who are willing to share their experiences of masculinity and vulnerability through portraiture. No prior experience with photography is necessary, just a willingness to participate and be open to the process.
Domestic Ghosts is an opportunity to be part of an intimate and thought-provoking exploration of masculinity. The final portraits will hopefully be part of a book and/or exhibition, shedding light on the complexities of male identity and emotion.
